How to use your Shutterbug

How do I pair my Shutterbug with my smartphone?

Turn on your Shutterbug by holding the button for 4 seconds until you see a blue light above the button start to blink.

When you turn on the button for the first time, it is in coupling mode and the blue light flashes for that reason as well.

You can now find Shutterbug / Shutterstick under your list of Bluetooth devices on your smartphone. Make sure you have Bluetooth on.

When you then connect to the device, your smartphone may ask for your approval to connect to the new device. In that case simply press YES / OK / CONNECT.

When you have connected to your new Shutterbug, the blue light will be thrown off.

There you go!

How do I take a photo?

Help

My Shutterbug turned up the volume in another app!

No danger, nothing is wrong!

When Shutterbug is connected to a smartphone and the button is pressed, Shutterbug sends a bluetooth signal that triggers the top volume button on your phone. By default, this button is the shutter button in the camera app.

If you don't have the camera app open, the signal will trigger the volume button as usual and raise the volume. The solution is to make sure you have the camera app open when you press the shutter button!
